A display cabinet built around negative space. The open alcove frames a single object—a vessel, a sculpture, whatever demands to be seen. Below, a shallow drawer with half-blind dovetails, deep enough for tea, textiles, or anything that needs a home.

Cherry carcass with hand-cut asanoha lattice in maple and basswood. The pattern is intricate without being fussy. Brass hardware from Bruso, with hand-turned pulls.
